Softball & Baseball Families

Please see the updated Return To Play Guidelines as outlined by Softball Manitoba and Baseball Manitoba in accordance with the Province of Manitoba's Public Health Orders.

Organized Softball and Baseball activities are permitted under the following conditions:

  • Maximum of 5 participants which includes coaches, per diamond, cannot have 5 outfield and 5 infield
  • The batting cage is considered a diamond
  • No spectators allowed. Parents must drop off and pick up at the end.
  • No Indoor activities allowed.
  • One coach present must execute the duties of safety officer as per Softball Manitoba's RTP (contact tracing, ensuring overall compliance with RTP & PHO, physical distancing, no spectators, etc)
  • It is recommended that the cohort of 5 stay together for that practice and not switch around. They start as a group and finish as a group.
  • Macdonald Community Centre Diamonds are open for personal use but please be mindful that booked team practices take precedence.
