2023 Macdonald Minor Ball FAQs

Softball

Updates for 2023 Season:

• Evaluations for U11-U17 to help split teams evenly, held at the Caisse Community Centre on Sunday, March 19th 
• Switching pant color for all age groups to Black from White
  • Home Run Sports has set up an online store to offer an easy option to purchase pants, belts & socks for the month of Feb during registration
  • All purchases will be available for pick up at Jersey night on April 20th
• New Storm jerseys for U11 & U13 this year
• $50 deposit will be required for all jerseys with a postdated cheque on Jersey Pick Up Night
• New Storm game visors will be provided to all players with their jersey
• Macdonald Storm fan hats will be available for purchase through our apparel store for non-players

 

Baseball

Updates for 2023 Season: 

• Evaluations will be held for 11U-18U
  • 11U evaluations (March 18 @ HRSTC & March 19 @ Caisse Community Centre)
  • 13/15/18U evaluations (Apr 4 @ HRSTC)
• Pant color remains Grey
  • Home Run Sports has set up an online store to offer an easy option to purchase pants, belts & socks during month of Feb during registration
  • All purchases will be available for Pick up at Jersey Night on April 20^th

• New Yankees hat will be provided to all players with their jersey
• Macdonald Yankees fan hats will be available for purchase through our apparel store for non-players

Typical Nights of Play During Season:

 

Apparel stores open February 1-28th - all items purchased through the store(s) will be available for pickup on the Jersey Night on April 20th at the Caisse Community Centre.

March 19/23

• 11U Baseball Evaluations @ Caisse Community Centre
• U11-U17 Softball Evaluations @ Caisse Community Centre

April 4/23

• 13/15/18U Baseball Evaluations @ HRSTC

April 20/23

• Jersey & Equipment pick up night @ Caisse Community Centre from 6-9pm
• Home Run Sports will have table set up for pant order pick up along with some additional equipment for sizing

April 21/23

• Softball Umpire Clinic April 22^nd from 9-1pm @ Caisse Community Centre

July 14-16

• U17 A Softball Provincials held at Caisse Community Centre (volunteers needed)
